After graduating School of Visual Arts in New York , I was fortunate enough to work for global accounts like Miller Beer, Pepsi, M&Ms, and Campbells. Working at the art studio at Backer Spielvogel Bates was by far the best work experience to prepare me to manage my own projects and develop solid client relationships when I decided to transition to full-time freelance in 1995.
Interesting opportunities in the film industry presented themselves like working on film sets for Warner Brothers "Conspiracy Theory" directed by Richard Donner and the Dreamworks film "The Peacemaker" directed by Mimi Leder, both in 1997 . I learned a ton working directly with first and second units about tracking story telling and even got to ride some vintage military helicopters and a few stunt cars takes, too much fun!
So when I'm not putting my life on the line in stunt cars , or cooking on some yummy Spanish food for my kids I really do enjoy problem solving with my clients and giving them the best art I can provide for their client meetings.
